EdgardSunlight shone down onto Edgard's face who mumbled and slowly began to regain consciousness. He sat up and waited for his vision to adjust itself and he looked at his surroundings, his bleak, dull, lifeless surroundings. He had taken refuge from the night in an abandoned, crumbling building, the floor was covered in debris and dust from where the ceiling had collapsed in several places and the sunlight filtered down though these holes. Edgard rummaged in his pack, which he had used for his pillow that night, for his breakfast and something to eat with, he pulled out a label-less tin and a knife to open it with, he was hoping what ever was in this unmarked tin was both edible and filling as this was his last tin that he had managed to salvage from the remains of what appeared to be a small shop. I stood in the doorway of the coffee shop for a moment, taking in the air and watching as the rain fell

'I told you it would be cold.' The coated person chuckled a little.
They were stood in a small clearing in a group of trees, the only light emitting from the moon hanging above, the sounds of teeth chattering and shivering were the only to be heard. Coated one looked around, studying what he could of their surrounding in this light, the coated figure was female, the taller of the two, she had shoulder length dark brown hair, her scarf was colourful, shades of cream and red in a pattern, her coat was black, a simple winter coat. The other figure, the smaller of the two, was male, he had short blonde hair that moved with the slight breeze, a black tee-shirt with the logo of his favo
